I have worked as a mother, early childhood educator, and nanny in Durham for the past 18 years. My interest in doula care began after the birth of my second child, where my doula became an integral part of our positive birth experience.

In our modern world, the structures that have traditionally held newly postpartum families are fractured. Distance from family and friends, along with the demands of daily life, often mean that our support systems are less accessible, and this was certainly the reality for my family. Hiring a doula allowed us to bridge that gap, and I have been drawn to that work ever since.

I completed my postpartum doula training with Doula Training International in 2025 and am honored to offer holistic care to birthing people and their families.

When I’m not working, I enjoy tending my garden, spending time with my children, being outdoors, cooking for friends, and a good book.
